British Band Wolf Alice has never let the little fact that they have yet to release a full length album slow them down. Now with the band’s first full studio album “My love is cool” about to be released in June, they will be unstopable. Their latest single “Moaning Lisa Smile” is frequently played on The Current and other alternative stations and their show at the Turf Club has been sold out for weeks.

Wolf Alice opened with “Fluffy” taking over the packed Turf Club and drawing in an audience that had hung back from the stage for the opening band. Playing some songs from their forthcoming album and older material, the band showed a stage presence and chemistry that proved they deserved the buzz that has been surrounding them. I am certain we will see them in a larger venue (First Ave, cough! cough!) in the near future.
