William Ryan Key is coming to the Turf Club 3/10. Key is best known as the singer, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of pop punk group Yellowcard (“Ocean Avenue”, “Only One”, “Way Away” just to name a few of their hit songs). Yellowcard originally formed in 1997 and were active through the late and early 2000’s up until 2017 after the band decided to go their separate ways. Key has since embarked on a solo career, bringing fresh music to fans new and old.

While Key has not forgotten his roots and will likely be playing a few familiar hits from his former band during the Turf Club show, he wants fans to know that this is “not a Yellowcard show” and have an open mind coming to see him in a completely new role.

Key recently released a new EP called Virtue last November, which brings together softer elements of rock and roll via acoustic guitars and subtle harmonies reminiscent of The Shins. Check out his song “Downtown (Up North)” below.

Opening for Key will be Selfish Things and Cory Wells. If you are interested in coming to the show, tickets are still available HERE.
