Michigan based Vulfpeck seem to have completely taken the music world by storm and now they are taking over First Avenue for two nights in a row. Vulfpeck will be playing the First Avenue mainroom on both Monday, May 1st and Tuesday, May 2nd to the delight of many fans. The band is notorious for their funky sounds that truly blur the lines between genres. Their music has a sense of simplicity while still being beyond interesting and intricate. It’s truly a trip to listen to and I can’t wait to see what happens when they play it live. It’s sure to be more than just a concert where you stand there and listen to music, it will be more of an experience where you feel every single note that is played. This will be the band’s third tour and sure to be the biggest yet. Vulfpeck’s latest album Flow State came out last year.
For both shows, Vulfpeck will be joined on stage by singer/ songwriter/ multi-instrumentalist/ producer Joey Dosik from California.
