The Tossers at 7th Street Entry – 9/15/2015

Hey Ed Sheeran! While you were crooning across the river, The Tossers came to town and took your lunch money! On a night when 2 different English “A boy and his guitar” acts had shows in the Twin Cities, the best connection to the old country came courtesy of a band from Chicago, IL.
The Tossers have been around since 1993 and stayed true to their roots as a working class band. Their music is straightforward, engaging and meant for the audience to sing along to (usually in varying stages of inebriation)

Current lineup
T. Duggins – vocals and mandolin
Aaron Duggins – tin whistle
Mike Pawula – guitar
Rebecca Manthe – fiddle (not at last night’s show)
Bones – drums
Peter Muschong – bass

The Entry was almost at capacity when The Tossers took the stage. Opening with “Fermoy Lasses” the band played material from their 2013 album “Emerald City”, older songs and Irish folk songs. The crowd was friendly and everyone had a great time.
