I am not certain if it’s caused by aspiration to play the Red Rocks Theater, but somehow some of the most spectacular stage shows are done by bands from Colorado. The String Cheese Incident’s live shows certainly are on top of that list and Minnesota fans will get a chance to experience it twice next week when the band comes to St. Paul’s Palace Theatre on April 5 and April 6 – check the links for tickets, a few are still available.

Just a few days after their shows, the band will release their new album “Believe” produced by the Talking Heads’ Jerry Harrison. You can hear their first track from the new album “My One & Only” HERE. Their Summer tour will commence in June and include 2 nights at – you guessed it – Red Rocks.

Over the past decade, The String Cheese Incident has emerged as one of America’s most significant independent bands. Born in 1993 in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, SCI has since released 11 albums, 7 DVDs and countless live recordings from their relentless tour schedule. Their 23 year history is packed full of surreal experiences, epic moments, groundbreaking involvement and huge accomplishments. They have been recognized for their commitment to musical creativity and integrity, for their community spirit, philanthropic endeavors, and for their innovative approach to the business of music.
