The Rocket Summer Celebrates 10 Years of “Do You Feel” At Cabooze 8/13

Are you a twenty-something that is quickly approaching thirty but grew up in a time where there was too much eyeliner, far too much angst to handle, and a secret love for acoustic emo-pop music that tried to hide from your friends? If that statement describes you, boy do I have a nostalgic show for you. The Rocket Summer will be taking over The Cabooze on Sunday, August 13th for a night full feelings. Celebrating the 10 year anniversary of “Do You Feel”, Sunday night’s show is sure to be a doozy for anyone that grew up in the emo cultural that shaped many of us. Although it’s the anniversary show for “Do You Feel”, I think I’m more excited to hear Bryce Avary (the front-man and mastermind behind The Rocket Summer) to play old tracks that date back to the 2003 album, “Calendar Days”. I can’t tell you how many months I spent with this band on repeat but I can tell you that even after all of these years, The Rocket Summer is still a staple in my daily playlist and being able to see them will be nothing short of a treat.

Tickets are still available here.
