Don’t miss your chance to check out Zakk Sabbath on Tuesday, August 13th at The Varsity Theater.
Fronted by the one and only Zakk Wylde (of Ozzy Osborne and Black Label Society fame) “Zakk Sabbath” is a Black Sabbath cover band. Wylde handles guitar and vocals and is joined by Rob “Blasko” Nicholson on bass guitar and Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queens of the Stone Age) on drums, who replaced original drummer John Tempesta. JP Gaster (Clutch) occupied the drummer’s seat in between, in September 2017. The band tours intermittently, and has released a single, three-track vinyl-only live 12″ in 2016.
So not only will you be able to see the one and only Zakk Wylde, you will get to hear some legendary songs played by the iconic musician. What I’m trying to say is this is a show that shouldn’t be missed.
The icing on the cake? Funny man Don Jamieson will be opening up the show and after seeing him a couple of months ago with Anvil, believe me when I tell you that you will want to get there early as to not miss a single punchline.
