The massive “The Octane Accelerator Tour” will be hitting The Varsity Theater Sunday, November 3rd. The line-up on this tour is absolutely incredible and the fact that Ice Nine Kills will be closing the afternoon/evening show up is just the icing on the cake.

Through the art of intricate song writing and elaborate story telling, Boston MA’s Ice Nine Kills have the ability to engage and captivate listeners, winning over a fanatical legion of followers across the nation. Seamlessly weaving aggressive post hardcore with soaring melodies, the ferocious four-piece utilizes multi-textured guitar hooks, a dual vocal attack, complex orchestral arrangements and a pummeling rhythm section, which grabs the listener by the throat and refuses to let go. The drive and dedication of Ice Nine Kills has made a lasting impression on fans both sonically and through their explosive live show, creating a kinetic energy through each performance. Armed with a new collection of songs, Ice Nine Kills stand poised for their biggest chapter yet.

Joining Ice Nine Kills will be Light The Torch. Light the Torch is a burgeoning new force within the hard rock/metal community who just inked a new world-wide deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The group, formerly known as Devil You Know, features the iconic Howard Jones (ex-Killswitch Engage) on vocals, Francesco Artusato (ex-All Shall Perish) on guitars and Ryan Wombacher (ex-Bleeding Through) on bass.

Make Them Suffer will be there too. Hailing from the most remote capital city on the planet, Perth sextet Make Them Suffer have been honing their razor sharp blend of frostbitten black metal, fiery hardcore and gothic misery since 2008. Partnering with global heavy metal powerhouse Roadrunner Records for 2012’s criticallyacclaimed debut, Neverbloom, the band hit the road with the likes of Northlane, Bleeding Through, Job For A Cowboy and Thy Art Is Murder to spread the nightmare throughout Australia,Europe and the UK.

Fit For A King and Awake at Last will also be there. I told you it was a massive tour!
