Irish Folk group The High Kings will be visiting Minneapolis on February 20th at the Cedar Cultural Center. Tickets are SOLD OUT but if any become available, check HERE.
The High Kings were formed in 2008 and have since released 8 recordings, with their first two (The High Kings and Live In Dublin) going platinum. Their most recent album, Decade: The Best of The High Kings will surely be on display, but songs from all of their releases are sure to be touched on as all of their albums have charted in Ireland. The group mixes both original pieces and traditional Irish songs such as “The Wild Rover,” “The Parting Glass,” and “The Rocky Road to Dublin.” Rumor also has it that the group will mix in some other genres in their live performance, as they have reportedly done in the past.
From Pub anthems with drums and guitars to A Capella ballads, this four-man group will be jigging their way into our cold riverside city in just over a week – don’t miss out!
