The Paranoyds:

“Punk wing dong gaze porn pop cop chop proto shoes progs clogs hogs fuzzy wuzzy soaked hugs and slugs. Los Angeles-based punk quartet the Paranoyds are releasing their debut album, Carnage Bargain, in September. They’ve already shared two tracks, including “Girlfriend Degree” and “Hungry Sam,” and today they’re sharing the title track from the album.” Listen below:

The Dirty Nil:

“Sure, playing 350 shows over the past three years all over the world was pretty impressive. Opening for The Who in front of 50,000 people? Not bad for a couple of loudmouths from the quaint, quiet valley town of Dundas, Ontario. And, sure, winning the Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year made the parents proud. But of all the accomplishments that Hamilton-based power trio The Dirty Nil have ticked off their bucket list since coughing up their debut single, “Fuckin’ Up Young,” in 2011, nothing tops the honor that was bestowed upon them back on March 23, 2015. The Dirty Nil didn’t just spend the past few years on the road in support of their debut album, Higher Power and companion collection of early singles, Minimum R&B. They spent of much of it opening for—and, more importantly, studying—the greats: Against Me, Billy Talent, Alexisonfire. They’re bands who, like the Nil, cut their teeth for years on the punk circuit playing the dingiest of dives, but now find themselves playing arenas and headlining festivals. With Master Volume, The Dirty Nil are ready to make the same leap—not by polishing their sound for radio, but by bulking it up to fill the stadiums and open fields of their most vivid rock ‘n’ roll fantasies.”

White Reaper:

“The raucous rock & roll group White Reaper formed in Louisville, Kentucky, and in the early stage of their existence sprinkled liberal amounts of bubblegum hooks and psychedelic weirdness over their short, energetic garage punk songs. White Reaper was formed by singer/guitarist Tony Esposito and twin brothers Nick and Sam Wilkerson (drums and bass, respectively) while they were still teens, and the group released their first single in 2013 (“Conspirator”/”The Cut”). The band’s energy and songs soon caught the ear of Polyvinyl Records, which signed White Reaper and released their self-titled, six-song EP in June 2014. Just before its release, and with the addition of Ryan Hater on keys, the band headed out on a long tour with Young Widows. Along the way they began working on material for an album, which they started with engineer Kevin Ratterman when they got home to Louisville. Recorded over the course of one breathless week, White Reaper Does It Again was released by Polyvinyl in the summer of 2015. With their riff-heavy sound, they released their critically acclaimed 2017 album The World’s Best American Band. They will release their third studio album You Deserve Love on October 18, 2019.”
