March 27, 2015 — The Badinovs kicked off the evening for The Magnolias 30th Anniversary Show at First Avenue 7th Street Entry. The band performed a solid set and was musically tight. The Badinovs sound is very reminiscent of the classic mid 70’s alt-pop era, but there’s no denying their respect (even with modern-day influences) for good old fashioned, raw-edged rock ‘n’ roll topped off with just the right touch of pure style. Unique keyboards were easily identifiable from Bill Kelm during the performance. The St. Paul-based band has a unique and pleasant sound that definitely crosses generations in today’s music scene.
