Ted Leo & The Pharmacists will be playing a sold out show on Saturday, November 11th at The Triple Rock Social Club. Since 1999, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists have been producing solid rock songs and albums that have truly stood the test of time. With seven albums full of catchy and intense songs, this show is sure to be one to be remembered. Singer, songwriter and multiple instrumentalist Ted Leo has tried his hand at all sorts of genres including his punk band (and my personal favorite group of his) Citizens Arrest. Ted has taken some elements of the punk music along with elements of the other bands he was in including The Both, Chisel and too many others to list, and created the beautiful sound that is Ted Leo & The Pharmacists. Although their latest release ‘The Brutalist Bricks’ came out back in 2010, Ted Leo put out a beautiful solo album entitled ‘The Hanged Man’ which just came out in September. I’m hoping for a great mix of songs
Ian Sweet will be opening the show with their nostalgic early 00’s influenced rock sound. To say that these guys have been buzzing on the interwebs lately would be an understatement and I am excited to see them live.
