A complete spectrum of Death Metal, Dark Metal and Symphonic Metal from all over of the world made its presence clearly known at Mill City Night. And what a presence it was as Starkill, Moonspell, and headliner Epica played one could be one of the most memorable Metal performances seen in a long time.

The night kicked into full gear with Starkill. It is always a thrill to be able to easily get into a full performance the first few minutes the artist hits the stage. The band of young and restless metallers from Starkill turned all heads.

Promoting their latest album from 2014, Virus of the Mind, this extremely talented American quartet distilled their Melodic Death Metal in a precise way, warming up the crowd for the Moonspell and Epica. Lead singer/guitarist Parker Jameson and guitarist Tony Keathley seemed very comfortable on stage and also among the crowd right after their concert was over,  showing how humble these guys really. Despite adding a couple of nice unreleased songs to their setlist, they truly thrived with songs from their two studio albums. The crowd roared when they burned through ‘Be Dead or Die’ and ‘Fires of Life’. Excellent, hard driving performance.
