Shen Yun. You’ve seen the billboards all over town, for months. Likely posters, too, in groceries stores. You’ve maybe even found a large-format glossy in your mailbox promoting the New York-based group that specializes in presenting Classical Chinese performing arts on a grand scale.
The wait is almost over: Shen Yun will be at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul from February 20th to the 23rd, delivering six performances over four days.
Tickets are still available HERE.
The 2020 Shen Yun World Tour is billed as an all new program -just an FYI for those who have seen previous incarnations. Promotional material for the 2020 show reveals:
This current show takes its inspiration from the China of 5000 years ago, the so-called ‘Middle Kingdom’. It was a place of divine harmony, populated by dragons, sages and immortals.
Bring some cheer and color to your February with awe-inspiring dance, acrobatics, music, and spectacle provided by Shen Yun’s “5,000 Years of Civilization Reborn.”
