In a world made up of pop music it can be hard to find any band that remotely resembles the classic era of rock and roll. However, in that vast sea there is one band that stands out and that band is, Rival Sons. The California band has vibes from groups like Humble Pie and Led Zeppelin. They have just released their 6th album Feral Roots with their radio hit single “Do Your Worst”. While embarking on their US Spring Tour, Rival Sons will be making a stop Minnesota stop on April 25th at the one and only First Avenue.

Opening for Rival Sons on this tour is the Saskatoon rock band, The Sheepdogs. The group got their first big bump in 2011 when they were voted to be appear on the cover of the Rolling Stone magazine. The band is heavily influenced by Sly and the Family Stone, CCR and The Allman Brothers. The Sheepdogs have had three number 1 rock hits in Canada including their 2017 song “I Got a Hole Where My Heart Should Be”.
