If your idea of a great Sunday afternoon includes slurping hot noodles Zen Box Izakaya has just the thing for you in mind. In it’s third year, their Ramen Attack: Heroes Edition will be held at the Mill City Museum this Sunday 9/27 from noon – 5 PM. All net proceeds benefit the Children’s Cancer Research Fund, a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization.

Attendance is free (chef demos require a Mill City Museum ticket) and there are 2 ways to get food. A Passport is available for $ 40 HERE – there are some left but act quickly.  This includes:
2 Ramen tickets
1 Street Snack ticket
2 Beverage tickets (soda for all, beer for 21+ – must show valid ID)
Up to 2 alcohol wristbands for 21+ attendees (must show valid ID to receive wristband)
1 Dessert ticket
1 free Mill City Museum Exhibits entry
Entry form for Ramen Attack prize giveaways

Individual tickets “may” be available but the organizers warn that the passport is the best way to secure food. In addition to local chefs several nationally known gurus of the noodle will be on hand:
Keizo Shimamoto, Ramen Shack in New York City
Justin Carlisle, Red Light Ramen by Ardent in Milwaukee
Jorge Guzman, Surly Brewer’s Table in Minneapolis
Jack Reibel, Il Foro & Paddy Shack in Minneapolis
John Ng, Zen Box Izakaya in Minneapolis

There will be street snacks, chef demos and cultural demonstrations. If the past years are any indication, this will be a fun event! Surly will be there with a beer specially brewed for Ramen Attack.
