The bell is set to ring one final time for Black Sabbath. The pioneering English heavy metal band has announced that it will embark on its farewell world tour in just a couple of weeks. The tour will be aptly titled “The End.”

The tour will feature three of the band’s four original members: singer Ozzy Osbourne;, bassist Geezer Butler; and guitarist Tony Iommi. Black Sabbath’s fourth founding member, drummer Bill Ward, does not appear to have settled the contractual dispute that saw him replaced for the band’s reunion tour by Tommy Clufetos. Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk played in Ward’s place on the album.

In that moment Heavy Metal was born, created by a young band from Birmingham, England barely out of their teens. Now it ends, the final tour by the greatest metal band of all time, Black Sabbath. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler close the final chapter in the final volume of the incredible Black Sabbath story.

The Black Sabbath farewell tour, ‘The End,’ begins on January 20, 2016 and it promises to surpass all previous tours with their most mesmerizing production ever. When this tour concludes, it will truly be ‘The End’.
