Post Malone hits the stage at the Xcel Energy Center on Thursday September 26th with his “Runaway Tour.” With his most recent album just hitting the market, and his previous albums still as hot as when they came out- this is going to be a big one!
There’s a lot of hype around Post right now, as the artist who not too long ago was just bursting into the scene with his first hit “White Iverson” has just released his third studio album Hollywood’s Bleeding. The album has received a ton of attention, especially with it featuring the “new and upcoming” artist Ozzy Osborne on the song from the new album “Take What You Want.” By the way, that is said sarcastically as it appears a lot of Post Malone fans are completely unaware of who the Black Sabbath and overall Rockstar really is. Anyways!
Additionally, adding to the stage we will see the presence of Swae Lee and Tyla Yaweh- there truly will be something for everyone this evening! Swae Lee, part of the Rae Sremmurd duo, has been making a name for himself since his 2018 album Swaecation hit the airwaves and since then has made a splash alongside post with their single “Sunflower” which was a staple in the Spider Man: Into the Spiderverse soundtrack. Tyla Yaweh, an up and coming artist from the sunshine state, Florida, and has been working with Post Malone since he signed on to Post’s label known as London Entertainment.
Post plans on bringing his Award Winning sound to St. Paul that has been described as everything from “grunge pop” to “R&B,” so this show is not purely for the rap/hip hop fanbase alone, but more of a versatile crowd in every sense except for age- with a previous album being titled Beerbongs and Bentleys, a more mature crowd is what we plan on seeing at the arena. Music aside, Post Malone’s famously genuine and passionate stage presence has us more than excited to see what he has to bring this upcoming night in September. I hope you all are as excited as I am!
