Portugal, The Man will be making a stop at The Palace Theatre in Saint Paul for shows on Friday, February 9th and Saturday, February 10th. Since their 2006 album “Waiter: “You Vultures!” came out, Portugal, The Man has been making waves in the indie-rock scene with their unique sound and infectious beats. Their highly anticipated June 2017 release “Woodstock” came out to words of praise throughout the world and has shot the band into the mainstream airwaves. Singer John Baldwin Gourley has a distinct voice that sets them apart from other groups currently residing in the airwaves and could be the reason that both of these Palace Theatre shows have been sold out for some time now. The group has eight full length albums and I think it’s safe to assume that you will be hearing songs from across their discography. Regardless of what the group’s set list looks like, you can be sure that their sure will be full of music that makes you want to get up and dance and leaves you with a smile on your face.

Opening the night will be Chicago based Twin Peaks. Their garage-rock almost punk sound will be the perfect start to what is sure to be a dynamic night full of music.

Both shows are sold out, but do keep an eye on social media as often last minute tickets become available.
