Pop Rock, Pop Punk fans of all ages came out Tuesday Night at the Myth to see their favorite bands. The young girls screaming voices were ready. San Diego’s Pierce The Veil has become one of the fastest-rising and most compelling forces on the music scene today, manifested by the rocket-ride success of the band’s 2012 release, “Collide With The Sky”. Debuting at #12 on Billboard’s Top 200, the album has sold nearly 300,000 copies in the U.S. alone, and features the single “King For A Day” which has been certified Gold and has racked up an astounding 48 million YouTube views. Already winners of “Best Video” at the 2013 Kerrang! Awards, and 2014’s Revolver’ Golden Gods “Best Film & Video” award for critically-acclaimed documentary This Is A Wasteland, the band also won three 2014 Alternative Press Music Awards including Best Live Band. The band has garnered a legion of dedicated fans worldwide through multiple tours around the globe, including stints with All Time Low and their recent sold out world tour with Sleeping With Sirens. 2015 has already seen them grace the cover of Alternative Press, Rock Sound, and Kerrang! Magazine, and the band are set to headline Warped Tour’s main stage this summer as they gear up for the release of their highly-anticipated new album later this year. Pierce the Veil is currently touring the U.S. with I Prevail and Neck Deep on the Made to Destroy Tour.

The show opened with young rockers I Prevail from Detroit, Michigan. Their debut album “Lifelines” will be released this October 21 2016. The fans were bouncing to the beat of every song. I Prevail played a seven song set starting with “Enemy” and ending with “LLL.” They encouraged their fans to come and meet the band after their set at the merchandise table. After the set I walked passed to see the fan response and the guys were taking group and selfie shots with their fans.

Pop punk band Neck Deep from Wrexham, UK were formed in early 2012. They have released three albums to date. “Wishful Thinking”,”Rain in July/A History of Bad Decisions” were both released in 2014. Their latest album “Life’s Not Out To Get You” was released in 2015. The crowd bounced and cheered for the full hour set. The fans were incredible singing word for word back to the band. Neck Deep played a eleven song set list starting with “Gold Steps” and ending with “Roots.”

A large white sheet covered the front of the stage, keeping the anxious fans waiting. It was the loudest screams I have ever heard, when the white sheet dropped.  Pierce the Veil’s stage had a spaceship broken in two for the guys to enter the stage. The crowd noise was unbelievable, finally the fans seeing Pierce the Veil. They played hit song “Dive in” and mid way thru the song the confetti guns went off. They played a killer fourteen song set. They Ended the show with “Circles”,”King for a Day.” Pierce the Veil was very high energy and very enjoyable to watch.
