Have Mercy/ Boston Manor Taking Over Amsterdam 11/3

Baltimore based Have Mercy is taking over the stage at Amsterdam Bar & Hall in Saint Paul on Friday, November 3rd. Have Mercy is one of those bands where, the first time you hear them, you’re hooked. They have been making music that hits you right in the feels since 2011 and have gained a devoted fanbase through their honesty and clear passion for the music. Over the years, Have Mercy seem to have honed in on their style while never really changing it– just perfecting it. Their brand of pop-punk music has a feeling of depth that seems to get lost on many bands these days. Their deep, emotionally charged lyrics have a way of getting stuck in your head without your permission. Their lines of words will continue to circle around in your head and, although they can be interpreted a million ways, the point is that they can be interpreted and make you feel something. The five piece released “Make The Best Of It” earlier this year and, if you ask me, it’s their best work yet.

On tour with Have Mercy is Boston Manor all the way from England. Much like Have Mercy, Boston Manor has a very distinctive brand of pop-punk that I just can’t get enough of. Although their sound is unique, they still have the quintessential passion that it takes to be a good old-fashioned pop punk band and stay relevant in such an over-saturated scene. Their new album “Be Nothing.” came out last year and, since it has been some time since a release, I’m stoked to see if they have some new music to offer their every growing fanbase.

Also opening the show will be New Jersey based Can’t Swim and Connecticut based A Will Away. With four touring bands, this is sure to be a night of great music that you can’t go out and see every single night so don’t miss your chance!

Tickets are available here.
