There’s nothing quite like a Matt and Kim show………..

The energy level that the duo brings to a live performance is unmatched and ignites the audience. Their shows are about dancing, sweating, and smiling – because you just can’t help it!

Fans will get a chance to experience that energy and fun at First Avenue on Monday 4/16. The show has been sold out for a while but do keep an eye on First Ave’s social media. There are last minute tickets from time to time.

After an injury related break in their touring schedule for most of 2017. Matt and Kim are back with a vengeance and a new album “Almost Everyday” that will be released in early May. They used that time to create one of their most personal albums to date, with writing beginning just one month after Kim’s surgery. Wanting to capture the energy of their live show, Matt and Kim invited friends Mark Hoppus, Kevin Morby, Santigold, SWMRS, Flosstradamus, King Tuff and more to lend vocals to album tracks

Oh, and that “supporting” band?l A  little known group called Tokyo Police Club, nobody outside Canada has ever heard of :). Well, other than a few hundred thousand of their followers on social media. The quartet spent the winter at Rob Schnapf’s LA studio recording new material they had spent much of 2017 writing at a church house in rural Ontario, during a few sessions throughout the year.  With the band celebrating their 10th anniversary with a series of shows at the end of 2016/early 2017 supported by Charly Bliss, who actually met at a Tokyo Police Club, the guys together for the first time without any real plan. They wanted to get away from their respective cities… Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, without any distractions, just to spend time together and have fun playing music.

The result is a new single “New Blues”, that will be made available prior to the official release on 4/20
