Minneapolis’ Marah in the Mainsail describe themselves as a cinematic, indie folk band with an aggressive sound, and eclectic instrumentation. “Eclectic” includes the use of heavy iron chains as a percussion instrument. They are an absolute blast to see live and have a Vinyl release party coming up next Saturday at the Day Block Brewing Company with Superior Siren and Calvin Heights.
Judging by their Facebook feed, there will be a horn section which should make things quite interesting.
