The New Generation Tour will be making a stop in Minnesota later this month. Friday March 29th the show rolls into The Myth with a roster to boot. Lil Baby, City Girls, and Blueface are among the most notable however the tour will also feature performances from the likes of Jordan Hollywood, Rylo Rodriguez, Marlo and 42 Dugg. For those in the know, the man known professionally as Lil Baby needs no introduction. 2018 was a huge year for the young Atlanta born rapper and he has quite literally been all over the map. Supporting two mixtapes, Street Gossip and Drip Harder, the later being a collaborative effort with fellow Georgia star Gunna, and his own debut album Harder than Ever.
His output in the last couple years has been prolific, releasing seven projects in just two years. But his effort has been met with reward. Performing twice on national television, most recently on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He was supported by rapper Yo Gotti as they performed their new song ‘Put a Date On It’. He has had two of the biggest songs to hit urban radio last year. His song ‘Yes Indeed’ with Drake and ‘Drip Too Hard’ featuring Gunna have both been certified platinum by the RIAA.
Fellow Quality Control lablemate City Girls, a duo composed of JT and Yung Miami, are also set to perform with additional support from the west coast based sensation Blueface all of which are ready to tour in support of their own 2018 releases. With these three acts composing about half of the tours lineup it’s sure to be a wild night full of memorable performances.
