With their new album hot off the presses, Californian metal heads Testament are embarking on an exhaustive U.S. tour which is making a stop at First Avenue on Wednesday, May 3rd. “Brotherhood of the Snake” is Testament’s first album since their 2012 release and was released to much anticipation of fans of the legendary group. Since the band’s beginnings in the mid 1980’s, there have been multiple line-up changes and eleven full length albums. They are one of the most popular bands in the trash metal scene and have always stuck to their roots as far as their music goes. It is truly exciting to see a band that has been grinding for long and has never given up regardless of what punches come their way. Testament is sure to play not only new songs in support of the new album, but also the old classics that so many people grew up listening to.

Brazilian trashers Sepultura will be opening the show along with Prong from New York. Both of these opening bands are notorious for energetic and intense live shows. Being able to see all three of these bands in one night is truly a treat!

Tickets are still available here.
