The LANY Tour Part 2 Is Taking Over First Avenue on 10/23

To say that LANY has taken the pop world by storm since their inception in 2014 would be an understatement. If you haven’t gotten your ticket for their October 23rd show at First Avenue, that would be a mistake. This may be a young band but they have a great show and are more than worth interrupting your typical Monday night schedule. I have literally watched this three piece band start from the bottom and work their way to the top. The first time I saw them was back in July of last year at The 7th Street Entry opening for Zella Day. A couple months later, they had sold out the Fine Line and now, just over a year since I saw them in the tiny First Avenue basement venue, I’ll be seeing them take over the mainroom with a show that I’d be willing to bet sells out. LANY’s sound is a perfect blend of alternative rock with a whole bunch of toe-tapping pop thrown into it. It’s music that makes you want to grab a stranger and dance. LANY released their debut self-titled album back in June and it seems like they have been on the road ever since. This show at First Avenue will be part of The LANY Tour: Part 2. Part 1 of this tour got a lot of buzz so don’t miss your chance to see Part 2!

Opening up the show will be Dagny, a Norwegian pop singer. This lady has one of the most intriguing voices I’ve heard in awhile and I am more than thrilled to see how that unique voice and beautiful sound translates to a live show. Don’t let the whole “pop singer” thing fool you. This girl’s got some pipes on her and is so much more than your average pop singer. Dagny’s debut album “Ultraviolet” is out now on Spotify and every other platform you could think of.

Tickets are still available here but I definitely wouldn’t sleep on these. I wouldn’t be surprised if this show sells out before the doors open.
