Khalid Brings The Free Spirit World Tour To The Xcel Energy Center On July 23rd

Just out of high school when he made his commercial debut with the ballad “Location” the non-traditional R&B singer and songwriter Khalid attracted a large following. With an undemonstrative but heartfelt vocal style and a down-to-earth perspective, the artist is hard not to love. In just over a year Khalid went from unknown teenager to certified chart-topping, platinum-selling star.

A lot changed in that year and a lot has changed since the last time the American Teen artist has been to Minnesota. For one he is no longer playing the Myth like he was two shorts years ago, this time he is playing at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center. The second big change is that Khalid has dropped his second album, “Free Spirit.” Debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 the 17-track project includes titles like “Talk” “My Bad” and “Saturday Nights” all of which have the potential to stir Khalid’s loyal fanbase into a frenzy.

To say that Khalid is a performer is an understatement. Two years ago, he came through Myth Live and put on a show that left the crowd in awe. His stage presence and musical ability are top notch and with three tours now under his belt as well as a handful of Best New Artist and Album of the Year awards under his belt I am excited to see what he does with a stage like the Xcel Energy Center.

Don’t expect tickets to last long, this is a show no one is gonna want to miss, get yours here
