From their debut in 1991 Teenage Fanclub has struck a chord with people all around the world. Whether it be from their first album “Bandwagonesque” or their newest single “Everything Is Falling Apart” every song has been filled with a highly influential form of rock and pop that becomes an ear worm to anyone who hears them. Teenage Fanclub is sure to play a number of their hits such as “The Concept”, “Sparky’s Dream”. “Fallin” and of course “What You Do To Me”. While most of the bands were turning grunge at their creation, Teenage Fanclub stayed true to the underbelly of rock and created a sound that is highly influenced by the one and only “Big Star”. Being from England the band doesn’t make it state side to often so be sure to catch on this run.
Opening for Teenage Fanclub is a band called “The Love Language”. The band has been running for ten years now and shows no sign of slowing down. In the early days they have this 60’s pop sound, think The Kinks meet The Vaccines. In their more recent material the band has started to play with synth tones. This move has made their music have a broad band of variety. The Love Language will be touring their new single “Bees” and will be an opening band you will not want to miss.
