Jason Mraz just released his new album, ‘Know.’, on August 10th under label “Atlantic Records”. About one of the albums hits, Billboard Magazine describes it as “A lighthearted guitar-tinged track that puts a pop beat to Mraz’s translation of the blessing he received 6 years ago — sentiments that resonate almost more today than back then.” You can check out the video for ‘Have It All’ below in which Mraz shares his reflection of a trip to Myanmar in 2012 where he had a moving visit with a Buddhist monk.
Of the song, Mraz sya, “‘Have It All’ stood out as a song with a hopeful message to help me heal and move forward; a song with a message of generosity — the anithesis of despondency. Its a blessing disguised as a rap song, and it’s meant to be paid forward and shared.” In celebration of the new album, ‘Jason Mraz – Have It All The Movie’ was released to U.S. movie theaters around the country on August 7th.
His tour promoting his new album will be at the Grand Stand at the Minnesota State Fair. A few tickets are still available HERE.
Opening for Mraz will be Brett Dennen with his folk/pop style; an excellent pairing with Mraz if I do say so myself. I don’t suspect tickets will be available much longer so make sure to grab them while you can. Summer is almost over so we should all make sure to get out there, enjoy the weather, and listen to some great tunes by these talented artists.
