Hoops to play the Entry on 6/1

Bloomington, Indiana’s Hoops just released their highly anticipated debut album Routines on May 5th via Fat Possum, and are taking the record on the road for their first-ever US headlining tour. Hoops’ not-to-be-missed live show garnered praise from The Fader, Paste, Chicago Tribune, and more for their killer SXSW debut, and they will be making a stop in Minneapolis at 7th St. Entry on June 1. Tickets are still available HERE

Hoops – named for hoop houses in flower nurseries, not for the sport – consists of three songwriters who take turns penning songs and singing lead vocals. To showcase this range, the band have shared three singles off Routines, each written by a different member. Listen to Drew Auscherman’s “Rules,” Kevin Krauter’s “On Top” and Keagan Beresford’s “On Letting Go.” Full of hyper-melodic songs, built around power-pop chords, deceptively complex drum patterns, and rock-anthem sentiments, Routines is one of the best debuts you will hear in 2017.
