Honeyblood to play the 7th Street Entry on 10/30

Honeyblood formed in 2012 in Glasgow Scotland. The two-piece of of Stina Marie Claire Tweeddale and Cat Myers , who have toured alongside indie royalty Belle And Sebastian, rock legends Foo Fighters as well as comrades like Courtney Barnett and Wolf Alice, will play 7th Street Entry on October 30th and I’d wanted to see if you’d be up to discuss setting up a session while they are in town?

Babes Never Die is particularly close to Stina Tweeddale’s heart… Quite literally. The words ‘Babes Never Die’ are tattooed across the Scottish artist’s ribs and are a fitting title for a triumphant sophomore album. Recorded during several candle-burning stints at London’s Fish Factory studio in the winter of 2016, Stina and Cat were joined by acclaimed producer James Dring, whose work with the likes of Jamie T and Gorillaz made him an intriguing choice for the Scottish duo. Make no mistake, ‘Babes…’ doesn’t sound like anyone else but Honeyblood. The urgent lo-fi charm that defined their debut still pulses from its core.

They will be supported by Jay Som and Monica LaPlante a Minneapolis Artist who just released her new EP “Noir”
