After six years of anticipation, Helmet has finally released their eighth album, Dead To The World, and are touring in support of said album. They will be making a stop at The Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis on Wednesday, December 14th. These guys have been rocking audiences since 1989 when they started in New York City. They are known for bridging the gap between indie-rock and metal with their unique brand of rock music. Their high energy shows have captivated audiences for years. Even though this tour is in support of their newest album, you can be sure that they will be bringing out some of the tried and true hits!
They will be joined by opener Local H from Illinois. Much like Helmet, Local H has been around since the late 1980’s and most recently released Hey, Killer last year. Local H’s music leans more towards the grunge side of the rock spectrum but carries the same amount of influence as Helmet.
