Hands Like Houses released their new album “-Anon.” last month under label “Hopeless Records”. The group has been touring off and on within the last six years, and have been very pleased with the turnout of record sales. Since the group was able to find downtime here and there they felt they were able to immerse themselves completely in the new songs that are presented on “-Anon.” Of the process, Prelude Press states, “The rare free time off the road allowed them to follow their instincts and craft each new song with its own energy and identity. The final collection presents and captures fatalism and optimism, call-outs and self-reflection, realism and fantasy, politics and personal journey. Each its own anonymous piece to relate to, built around a shared human experience or perspective.” Make sure to take a listen to, “Overthinking”, the single that was released prior to their release of the new album below.
Of the new record, the band states, “It’s been the most fun we’ve had creating a record yet, and we’re unbelievably proud of the energy, the honesty and the stories that have gone into it.”
Their tour promoting the new album will be at the Amsterdam Bar and Hall on 11/15. A few tickets are still available HERE. Touring with them will be Arlington, Emarosa, Devour the Day and The Faim. As this is a pretty big show, I wouldn’t count on tickets being available much longer so make sure you get yours before your chance is gone!
