Guided by Voices has been a staple of the US indie rock scene since 1983 going through a couple of breakup/reunion cycles and lineup changes but always maintained the presence of principal songwriter Robert Pollard. In the latest changeup former guitarist Doug Gillard rejoined the band.
They released their twenty-second album “Please be Honest” a couple of months ago and their set mixes tunes from it with classic material and music from Pollard’s side projects. Their tour brings them to First Avenue’s Mainroom next week. Tickets are still available HERE
