When 2017 is done I will have gone to over 100 shows but I would trade them all for one night when one of the founding fathers of electronic music come to town. Gary Numan, supported by Me Not You and of course DJ Jake Rudh will be performing at First Avenue on 11/28. Tickets are still available HERE but don’t count on them being around much longer.
40 years into an illustrious career that has influenced countless musicians, Numan just released his 18th album “Savage (Songs from a Broken World)”. He is absolutely mesmerizing live. On a personal level Gary Numan has been part of several milestones in my life, my first show at First Avenue, my first time photographing a “real” concert, “Cars” is the first song I play in every new car I own, and my first kiss was to “Are Friends Electric” way back in my high school days. But all personal bias aside, fans will be in for one heck of a concert………….
