Freddie Gibbs Returns To Minnesota At The Cabooze On 4/11.

Freddie Gibbs, a.k.a. Gangsta Gibbs a.k.a. Freddie Kane a.k.a. Freddie Corleone. A rapper by many names is making his way back to the Twin Cities this upcoming week. Hailing from Gary, Indiana, he is nothing if not prolific with a career that spans nine mixtapes and five albums. His latest offering came in 2018 with his Fourth solo album ‘Freddie’ and just a few months later his second collaborative effort, this time with the hot spitta Curren$y. Tickets are available HERE

With each effort Gibbs flexes his prowess as a lyricist and as a performer. He is technically proficient and  diverse in his style. Flowing effortlessly over the soulful sampling of Madlib or the ear ringing slappers brought to you by Kenny Beats. His versatility along with his candid and self reflective rhymes have placed him within a certain tier of hip hop that takes many artist in the genre twice the length. For the uninitiated, these are just a few of the things Gibbs also brings to his live shows. A few reasons that this show is unmissable for any hip hop head.

Local talent will also be hitting the stage alongside Freddie Gibbs. The winner of Season Eight for radio station Go 95.3s ‘Shut Up and Rap’ competition will be opening the evening.
