Vancouver, BC based singer songwriter Frazey Ford is set to play The Cedar Cultural Center, next Tuesday – May 30th. Frazey Ford will be joined by Kari Arnett, a Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter via Madison, WI. The Cedar Cultural Center is known for booking a wide array of amazing talent – and this show is no exception. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Grab yours online HERE.

Frazey Ford is best known as a founding member of The Be Good Tanyas. Ford released her first solo album Obadiah back in 2010. That album was followed up by her sophomore release Indian Ocean. Both of Ford’s projects have been received with critical acclaim. The New York Times has this to say of Ford, “ “She deals out soul and mountain-music style and Scots-Irish lilts in bold ways. It’s hard to think of another singer who suggests Dolly Parton, Ann Peebles and Feist.”

Kari Arnett is an artist on the raise her in the Twin Cities. Arnett has been playing a slew of shows across the Twin Cities as well as her home state of Wisconsin. Arnett is one of those artists with a voice so raw, so pure, it hits you to your core. Arnett’s live sets are vulnerable and authentic – she is presence and a voice that is much needed.

Come check out both of these amazing artists – next Tuesday at the Cedar!
