L.A battle MC-turned-recording artist Dumbfoundead will be stopping by Loring Bar and Restaurant this Sunday, April 29th. He’s currently touring behind his excellent new Rocket Man EP. Tickets are still available (for now) HERE.
From the battlegrounds to his recent string of successful records, Dumbfoundead (a.k.a Jonathan Park) has become a major presence in the field of modern hip-hop over the past decade. At the age of three, Park’s mother smuggled both him and his sister across the Mexican border and nestled the family into his future stomping grounds—Koreatown, Los Angeles. In recent years, Dumbfoundead has experienced an exponential rise to national acclaim, with everything from rap battle/music videos with views in the millions, to spotlights on shows like Late Night with Carson Daly. Dumbfoundead is also an up-and-coming actor, with supporting roles in Joseph Kahn’s Detention (2011) and Season 3 of Power (2016). Most recently, Dumbfoundead released his Rocket Man EP in 2017.
