Twin Cities based artist Devon Worley and band will appear at The 7th Street Entry on August 18. Doors are 6:30 pm and music starts at 7 pm. This is an 18+ show and ticket details can be found HERE.
If ever the term “More miles than years” applies, it does when referring to Worley. She may be only be in her young 20s but she’s been on the road touring the American heartland with an experienced band since she was in high school. Along the way, she’s gathered a solid cadre of fans who fancy her unique blend of Country and Rock; both delivered with her signature power. They will rightly claim that she is an artist with a real shot at carving out a long, successful career in a very tough business.
So will it be in the Nashville Country scene? Or will the band find its path along the rock and roll highway? Ultimately, it really doesn’t matter because Worley doesn’t fit a specific niche. She likes what she likes and brings a wagon load of energy when she hits the stage. After all, great songs delivered with passion and high end chops is what makes or breaks an artist.
When you get right down to it, many of us are out in the city’s music venues for a performance, as opposed to a simple offering of songs. This show promises to be a whole lot of band in a small, high energy venue. What’s not to like?
Come for the hard rocking Country. Stay for the Zeppelin wail.
Local bands Trading Faces and Sundown 47 will kick off the festivities.
