The never dull Cowboy Mouth is set to take the stage at First Ave on March 2, 2019. The band, led by drummer Fred LeBlanc throws the band into uncharted waters that many bands can never find. Their energy and stage presence is incomparable to any other band and is only amplified with their songs like: Joe Strumer, Iko Iko, How Do You Tell Someone and of course their hit “Jenny Says” and you better believe they will play them all.

The bill is booked as a Mardi Gras party at First Avenue. Since Cowboy Mouth is originally from New Orleans, it is sure to be a jumping time. After all if anyone would know how to party on Mardi Gras it would be a band from New Orleans!

Along with Cowboy Mouth on this tour is another band that originated in the 1990’s, Drivin’ N Cryin’. The band hails from Atlanta and has a very strong bio for us northern folk:

“If Paul Westerberg had grown up worshipping Angus Young instead of Alex Chilton, the Replacements might have sounded something like this.”

Drivin’ N Cryin’ will take the stage second and will hopefully leave a stage for Cowboy Mouth the play on.

Tickets are still available for this show HERE. $22 in advance and $25 on the day of the show.

Doors are at 7:00pm.
