Walk the Moon at First Avenue –  TICKETS

Ohio’s WALK THE MOON have been captivating audiences with their energetic live shows for the better part of a decade.  The band first made a name for themselves by touring relentlessly in support of their self-titled debut, which featured the indie classic “Anna Sun.” The alt-rock-pop band was then catapulted into the spotlight when 2014’s “Shut Up and Dance” became a multi-platinum global smash, crossing sonic barriers to top three different Billboard charts. After two years of performing countless sold out shows in twenty five countries across five continents, the band returned to the studio to craft their third major label release, 2017’s What If Nothing. As the band steps in 2021 and beyond, WALK THE MOON is excited to begin releasing music from their new album Heights which is led by their anthemic new single “Can You Handle My Love??” This single is released alongside two additional new songs “Giants” and “I’m Good” with much more new music to come.

Kidd G at the Fine Line –  TICKETS

Country/pop hybrid, Kidd G consistently pushes the boundaries between genres while remaining authentic in his lyrics, production and sound. He infuses his signature hometown influence with every song and video, and I can guarantee that this tour will have the same amount of small town charm that draws fans and critics to him.

His most popular song to date, “Dirt Road”, essentially catapulted him into the mainstream music scene. Previously, most of his fans had come from his Soundcloud, which leans more towards emo-rap than it does country. The instantly successful track, which caught the attention of The New York Times and re-sparked the ongoing debate about the coexistence of country music and hip-hop,also landed him on Spotify’s new Hot Country Artists to Watch in 2021 list

Dar Williams at The Cedar –  TICKETS

Dar Williams was always in the right place at the right time for the success she’s had over a 25+-year career. She rose out of the vibrant mid-90’s Boston scene, inspired by the eclectic influences of alt-rockers, Berklee jazz musicians, slam poets, and folk artists, like Patty Griffith, Melissa Ferrick, the Throwing Muses, Vance Gilbert, and Jonatha Brooke.

After a year of touring non-stop with her first album, The Honesty Room, in 1994, she was invited by Joan Baez to tour in Europe and The United States. Meanwhile, thanks to her avid supporters and 100,000+ sales for each new album, Dar’s literate but highly-listenable songs were showing up everywhere from commercial radio to college reading lists.

By 1997, she was on main stages throughout North America, including Lilith Fair, Newport Folk Festival, Bumbershoot, Carnegie Hall and Canadian festivals from Vancouver to Nova Scotia. At the turn of millennium, Dar took the opportunity to branch out further. Aside from her eleven studio albums to date, she has written two highly acclaimed young adult novels for Scholastic Inc., written a green blog for Huffington Post, taught a popular course about music and social movements at Wesleyan University, and written What I Found in a Thousand Towns, a book about social-capital based urban planning, based on her extensive touring observations, for Hachette Publishing Group.

Over the last eight years she has also led a well-loved songwriting retreat, Writing a Song that Matters, guiding the creative process as both a seasoned songwriter and a kindred spirit to all who attend.
