Leaving the Twin Cities after some personal struggles to cross the border into Wisconsin Johnny Solomon’s music making days seemed over. But when music is your calling, it finds you no matter where, and out of this Communist Daughter was born.
Fast forward to 2016 and their new album “The Cracks That Built The Wall” saw its release at the Electric Fetus followed by a Midwest Tour that will reach its culmination with a CD release show at First Avenue on 11/11. Tickets are still available HERE.
The six-piece band’s new release covers a wide range of sound and shows the time the band took to make it. Their sound is big and blissful and should be an experience to see life. The First Avenue show will also feature great Minneapolis bands Catbath, Fraea and Alpha Consumer.
