Taylor Gang’s own Chevy Woods is set to play the Lumber Exchange Event Center, next Thursday 3/23. The Lumber Exchange is the event space about The Pourhouse. Tickets are only $15 and are still available HERE. This is an all ages show and will feature a slew of local talent including Solo Davis, Younq Dread, FLYBOYQUIZ, and Tommy Boy.
The Chevy Woods show was first brought to Twin Cities Media’s attention by Minneapolis own Younq Dread. The rap and hip-hop scene in Minneapolis is probably one of the diverse and eclectic in the country, so we’re always excited to see what the local talent is up to. We’re also lucky to have national acts like Chevy Woods roll through town. Chevy Woods is the project of Kevin “Chevy” Woods, who hails from Pittsburgh, PA. For those maybe not familiar with this scene – you might know Pittsburgh best as the home of Cameron Thomaz, better known as Wiz Khalifa. Chevy Woods first connected with Wiz Khalifa back in 2004 and the two have been collaborating and working together ever since. Just this year Chevy Woods released the infectiously catchy single Things Change, via TGOD Ent. Chevy Woods has been releasing music steadily over the past few years. His live set is sure to deliver with a little help from some local talent. Come hear it all live next Thursday at the Lumber Exchange!
