Prolific guitar maestro Buckethead will be hitting the Cabooze this Thursday, March 24th. This marks Buckethead’s first MN tour stop in two years. During that time, he’s released dozens of albums, and impressed crowds across the nation with his legendary one-man live show. He’s also been in the news recently after speaking in an interview about touring and recording new music in spite of his battle with his recently diagnosed, life-threatening heart condition. Tickets are still available (for now) HERE.

Buckethead is virtuoso guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist who encompasses several genres of music. He has released 256 studio albums, 4 special releases and an EP. He has performed on over 50 more albums by other artists. His music spans such diverse areas as progressive metal, rock, funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, and avant-garde music. He performs primarily as a solo artist, though he has collaborated extensively with a wide variety of high profile artists such as Iggy Pop, Les Claypool, Bill Laswell, Bootsy Collins, Serj Tankian, Brain, Mike Patton, Viggo Mortensen, and was a member of several big bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Col. Claypool Bucket of Bernie Brains, and Praxis.
