Reignwolf Takes Over The Turf Club 10/6

Jordan Cook, also known by his stage/band name of Reignwolf, has been making thunderous waves in the blues and rock scene since he was old enough to pick up a guitar and sing. Cook comes from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, but his humble beginnings in Northern Canada haven’t held him back from diving head first into the U.S blues scene and touring across the world.

This Saturday, October 6th, he will make an appearance at the Turf Club in St. Paul.

Cook has been an active musician for the majority of his life, impressing audiences with his guitar playing just about everywhere he goes. At 15-years old, he fronted a blues rock trio who played Switzerland’s highly popular Montreux Jazz Festival. In 2012, Cook moved to Seattle where he officially adopted the stage name of Reignwolf and began playing shows around the area and ultimately touring across the country.

Starting out as a one man wrecking crew, Reignwolf was declared one of “10 New Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone in January 2014. His style of guitar playing is gritty, hard, and heavy. With his distorted sound and skillful playing, Reignwolf mimics the likes of Jack White with his blues inspired, unmistakable sound. His rugged vocals coupled with his outstanding guitar playing put him a step above the rest.

Reignwolf’s Saturday show at the Turf Club is 21+, but definitely worth checking out if you are looking to scope out some fresh, up-and-coming talent in the blues/rock scene.

Fans in attendance at the Turf this Saturday night can expect a loud, electrifying experience as Reignwolf is guaranteed to shred cut after cut all night long. Tickets for the show are still available, and can be found HERE.
