Every so often one of those artists comes along that stops you in your tracks. Sometimes all it takes is one song. A song that you connect with, a song that is something different, something you haven’t heard before, something with true power and depth behind it. That was Billy Raffoul’s Driver for me. The first time that popped on a Spotify discover playlist, I knew there was something different about Raffoul. After a quick scourer of the internet (as us writers do) I learned there really wasn’t much out from Raffoul yet. (The anticipation builds). Raffoul clearly has more tricks up his sleeve as he is heading out on tour this summer with fellow up-and-comer Mondo Cozmo.

Raffoul just released Dark Four Door, the follow up single to Driver. In addition to the release of his new single Raffoul just returned from Europe where he performed at British Summer Time in London’s Hyde Park opening for Kings of Leon, Pixies, and Nathaniel Rateliff. 2017 has already been a busy year for Raffoul and we expect this is only the beginning.
