The last time Billy Idol was in town, 300 people squeezed into the packed Turf Club to see him play an acoustic set as part of the Current’s 10 birthday celebration. This time around, we get the full experience with a show at First Avenue on 7/10. The show is sold out, but check First Ave social media for last minute releases.
One of the Godfathers of punk with his band Generation X and later as solo artist Billy Idol has taken residency this year at House of Blues in Las Vegas and touring between gigs there. His live shows have not lost any of his energy, attitude or signature sneer.
