The Cabooze Plaze kicks of their summer season with a triple punch of nostalgia (well semi nostalgia). Headliners Barenaked Ladies supported by Orchestral Manuevres in the Dark and Howard Jones will start their Last Summer on Earth Tour in Minneapolis. Some tickets are still available HERE
There is also a free Transmission after dance party at the Triple Rock starting a 9 PM hosted by Jake Rudh.
BNL as they are known to their fans have been making music for almost 20 years with numerous hit singles and the theme song to “Big Bang Theory”. Their album “BNL Red Rocks” will be part of the ticket purchase.
OMD or Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark are one of the most influential New Wave Bands coming out of the UK. Going on 40 years they are still recording and just finished a live album at Royal Albert Hall.
And Howard Jones of course needs no introduction. Another staple of 80s UK artists he may be more known for his upbeat songs, but back in the day he almost got kicked out of the British Musician’s Union for his use of synthesizers. He also just completed a brilliant acoustic live tour.
