Having moved from the Cabooze Plaza, LA band Awolnation packed the 3,200 capacity Myth with enthusiastic fans. They are touring in support of their 2nd album “Run” release in March of this year.
Awolnation’s entrance was dramatic with colored lights silhouetting band members as they entered. Much of the opening song “Run” was set with the artists only shadows against a fantastic light show behind them. The show is quite clearly centered on front man and singer Aaron Bruno who did not disappoint. The Myth’s pit is wider than most but he was close to the edge reaching out to fans frequently. He also moved quite a bit over the wide stage getting as close to his audience was possible.
Overall Awolnation delivered a fantastic show, delighting their fans and winning over any sceptics that may have made the drive to suburban Maplewood.
