2016 was a busy year for Minneapolis’ Poliça. A new album “United Crushers”, a tour that took them across North America and Europe, and quite a few festival appearances including Rock the Garden. They even managed to get pulled into the world of British Tabloids when the Prime Minister’s wife was found to be a fan “Last year she revealed her love for American psychedelic rock band Poliça, whose songs feature violent imagery.” by the Daily Mail.
No word on if Ms. Cameron will be in attendance on Saturday’s show at First Avenue, but unfortunately, Queen Elizabeth II will not be, as one of her Welsh Corgies refused to listen to anything other than Bro Country Music. On the good news side, that means a few tickets are still available HERE
The band will celebrate it’s 5th year anniversary at First Avenue, supported by Spank Rock and Taskforce.
